2019 Wait, How Far is That?

Help immigration attorney Natalia Segermeister support CASA for Children of DC in their effort to find children safe living environments. Attorney Natalia Segermeister provides representation and guidance regarding immigration issues in the DMV area and is honored to be a sponsor of the 2019 Wait, How Far is That 13K & 4M benefiting CASA. The race will be held in the heart of Georgetown, Washington, DC on October 20th.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for children of DC is a nonprofit that is dedicated to giving a voice to children in the DC Foster Care system. Volunteers work with children who have open abuse and neglect cases to help them find permanent homes.

Come out and show your support for CASA by starting your morning with a rewarding run along the Potomac River. The 13K race starts at 8:00 am and the 4-Miler begins at 8:30 am. Both races run on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path. This is a flat course, making it an ideal race for people with walkers, strollers, and leashed pets.

To participate in this year’s race visit the registration page. Due to the park’s policy, there will be no day of race registration, so please register before October 20! For those unable to attend there will be a virtual run option available on the day of the race.
